Fundraising

Every year, we need to fundraise to keep the playgroup functioning. The income we get from fees and council funding is simply not enough to meet all our expenses and to ensure a rich and varied programme of events and activities for the children.
In a typical academic year, we aim to raise £6,000.  We do this by organising a few major events each year, such as a  Halloween Fair, Race Night and Quiz Night.We also organise a programme of smaller events such as sales of Christmas cards, tea towels and a raffle.

We also apply for grant funding from various charitable trusts and bodies where we can.
